| near the turbos cause that's where it gets hottest. You'd need two to monitor each side and one gauge per side. They provide a much more accurate picture of what is happening in there. A difference in temps should be normal simply because the No.6 cylinder gets hotter anyways. But a major difference would tell you something is wrong, eg: detonation.
